My name is Najat, but everyone I love knows me as Naj. Since we're going to be designing your wedding flowers together—and seeing one another on one of the most important days of your life—it only feels right that you call me Naj too.

I married the love of my life in April 2026 (yes, that's me there, mid-giggle and wrapped up in wedding bliss), so I know exactly what it feels like to be a bride in today's world.

I've been surrounded by wedding flowers as a florist for the past five years. I've always loved the way flowers not only elevate a space but also tell deeply personal stories. The scent of jasmine reminds me of my aunty's garden when I was growing up. The warmth of the first cut 'Mr Lincoln' garden rose takes me back to my childhood home. Poppies remind me of my entry into the industry—they were the very first flowers I ever purchased at the wholesale markets. Pure white garden roses in full bloom remind me of the first bouquet my husband ever gave me, and the fragrance of hyacinths transports me straight back to my own wedding day.

To me, flowers aren't just decoration—they have the capacity to transform a space visually, but more importantly, they have the power to transport you through time, back to your most treasured memories.
